Thankful Thursday

Today I had therpay with my oldest and decided afterwards to go have lunch and do a little shopping. He was so good shopping even though none of it was for him and it seemed to take forever, that it made me think about how thankful I am to have such a good kid while out in public. (mind you he is not always this good)
So I decided to write a Thankful Thursday Post!
I’m Thankful for my husband. He goes to work and has to be away from his family every other week sometimes missing the big things yet he never complains. He provides for us, giving us not only the things we need but whatever we want. Still never complaining. I am very thankful for him.
I am Thankful for my patience. It has helped me overcome a lot with my children and has helped them learn to be patient as well. Without it we wouldn’t be able to go shopping together like we do or play games together like we do. Patience is amazing and I am thankful I have learned it!
I’m Thankful for my Ranch! Yes it is a ton of work but it is so worth it. To know what we are eating and where it comes from is a nice relief from having to worry about hormones and pesticides at the store. Being able to go pick fresh veggies from the garden and cook them up is just the best. Gardening and Ranching with the kids not only teaches them the responsibility of it all but where their food comes from.
I am Thankful for my friends. My real friends who are always there when I need them and remember stuff I tell them even when I’m bad at that. They don’t judge me for being me and we have great conversations when we are together or over the phone when we can’t be together.
I’m Thankful for my laptop. Yes, this thing has been my life line lately. It’s where I blog, check the bank, buy random shit, check my Facebook. I’m not  sure I could live without it.
I am Thankful for my family. The good, the bad, the ugly. We all have our moments and usually (most of us) still love each other at the end of it all. There are things that just wouldn’t be the same without your family. Regardless if it’s immediate family or down the line. I am thankful for them all. They all teach me something about myself without even being with me all the time.
I’m Thankful for my cell phone. Can you imagine what would happen if you didn’t have your phone for a week!? Between that and my laptop they help me keep in contact with people I otherwise never would. My cell phone also keeps my kids quiet in waiting rooms. Where was that when I was a kid?
I am Thankful I have 2 completely opposite kids. That is crazy but it’s been an adventure I wouldn’t want to miss out on. One is on the angry side with feelings beyond his years, that’s not too social and the other is happy go lucky and talkative like her mama. They are both amazing no matter their differences. I just love that they are so different. They make sure life is never boring! I am thankful for that.
I’m Thankful for Legos. Hours of fun! The more you have the less fighting over pieces you’ll have too. It’s pretty awesome!
I am Thankful for water. I drink so much water everyday. I don’t have to buy it or filter it out of my tap. I have the most amazing tasting water that comes right out of my well. I know I take it for granted, especially when the power goes out and I don’t have any! I wish I had an old hand pump so I never had to worry about it.
I’m Thankful for my car. Anyone that knows me knows I drive…A LOT! I have a mini van with all the bells and whistles. Makes traveling so easy with kids and so fun with friends!
My Thankful list could go on forever. These are just a few things I am thankful for today. In this moment.
