Living Life Like The Gypsy

At some point everyone wishes they could live like a Gypsy. Travel and see the world with their free spirit and love of life.

You don’t have to travel to be a gypsy. You will want to though. You have to believe in yourself and your dreams. Decide what it is that you want, how you want life to feel and look, and then move in the direction of that vision. I’m actually not really sure of the HOW until I see it in retrospect. You have to change your way of thinking. Once you realize YOU have control over yourself, you tend to feel free. You don’t let things bother you and you see the positivity and greatness in everything. You actually end up living a happier, fuller life! You follow your heart. Here are some tips to help you on your gypsy journey.

No one is too old for a fairytale.

Every positive thought propels you in the right direction.

Take a walk on the wild side.

If you can do it, Travel. You don’t need a lot of money or anything else to get anywhere. Stay with friends or family. Make new connections. Be flexible with your time. You can go anywhere you want. I have 2 kids and not a lot of money and have traveled more than a lot of people I know! You just have to do it!

If you want something you have never had, you must do something you have never done.

Some people will say you’re going the wrong way. It is simply a way of YOUR own.

Always choose the adventure!

Love is what binds us. Respect is what unites us.

All good things are wild and free.

If you have inner peace, no one can force you to be a slave of the outer reality.

Celebrate life. ALL LIFE!

Count your pennies. How much money you have is generally less important than what you do with your money.

Generosity is a high priority in the life of a gypsy because the more you give, the more you receive and gypsy life is incredibly co-dependent on human connection and the kindness of others.

Drink the wild air and live in the sunshine!

Listen to the wind (your gut feelings are usually always right).

Don’t be afraid to have that alternative lifestyle.

The free spirit is rare but you know it when you see it, basically because you feel very good when you are near or with them.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones that you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails and explore, dream and discover!

We are all wanderers here on this earth. Our hearts are full of wonder and our souls are deep with dreams!
